Our Mission

Every May, Walter Reed Benevolent goes to Washington DC to attend and participate in National Police Week, but that’s not the only reason. We also take one day during Police Week to give back to those who fight for our country overseas, and this year, we need your help.

How to donate

POAM is seeking donations from anyone willing and able to give so that we can provide injured soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with gift bags containing T-shirts, DVDs, gift cards and more. We believe that while law enforcement agencies protect citizens in their local communities, it’s the men and women of the US military that protect all of us, and our freedom. Any and all gifts are greatly appreciated. Please fill out the form to the right to donate!

If you’re interested in donating something other than money, please see the list below for items we are looking to donate to injured soldiers. All physical donations can be delivered to the POAM office, located at 27056 Joy Rd., Redford, MI 48239. Thank you for helping POAM give back to the ultimate protectors!
